In general, Las Vegas is a casual town. Casual to very casual is what
95%+ of the tourista types wear.
Yes, I know, that's not what some of our people want to hear. :) :)
In general, casual to moderately dressy attire, boymode or girlmode,
will be appropriate at most DLV activities.

Casual would be appropriate at most DLV activities, if that's what you
would like to wear. Casual is required for a few things such as the side
trip to the ghost town and a couple shopping things.
Casual is recommended for the daily lunch/brunch.
>Which events are formal?
The big show on Thursday, the accompanying limo tour, and the
alternative "Pity Party" are the big dress-up activities. There are
others, and some choose to go formal to such things as the Annual Mixer.
The High Tea is "dressy daytime" and is about the only thing where casual
is not allowed.
There's also one activity (possibly two) planned where it will be
appropriate, even encouraged, to do something more flashy or exotic, if
you choose to do that.
>Should I pack poolside wear?
The Sahara pool will be open, but last year people reported it was COLD.
Other hotel's pools may or may not be open. They usually open around the
first of May. There will be a pool at the Garden Party on Saturday, but
it will most likely be cold as well.
Our schedule is still being put together, but a very detailed list of
dress suggestions for each activity will be sent out in what we call
the "large final mailing" to everybody who is registered.
Between now and DLV, most of our general mailings will feature one
activity in detail and will discuss dress for it.
