Hi all,
The nun-o-rama-rampage sounds like lots of fun. I do realize it is an
event that not many will be involved in but many will have fun with. It
is just sick enough to be to much fun.......:+)
With that said, I just read the dress/behavior code we must all abide by
if we want to be involved with the DLV in all future events. Now, I do
understand all that it says since I read it twice... a major event for
a slow reader like myself ...giggle.
I read that ANY behavior in a public location, during DLV, that will
bring negative or unwanted attention to the DLV group and TSs in
general, is frowned upon. In fact, if one is not dressed appropriately
in a public area, others will take her aside and point this out and
make her change or she cannot attend the function.
Now, am I missing something here? TG Nuns acting non-nunlike in a casino
and no-tell motel is not going to draw negative and unwanted attention
to DLV and TGs?
I for one see unwanted Law Inforcment/Security written all over this.
Maybe even News at 11 type of trouble. To many uptight Catholics still
out there (like my ex-inlaws). What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...
with a population well over a million people now, that's a BIG place
for it to stay in. I guess we could say "what happens in Vegas stays in
Vegas... and the people there will remember TGs being bad all over the
news!". What do the sisters that live in Vegas think of this?
If a group of us want to dress like hookers (not being hookers, just
dressing like them) and walk through a casino..... well, you see what I
mean. If there are going to be rules, then EVERYONE needs to follow the
rules...... sounds a bit unfair but that is what rules are for. If the
ad-hock group has spent all of this time putting these rules down on
Digital paper, then this is a serious thing we must all honor.
I see this type of thing even causing a bit of public ripple during
Halloween, which has open license for almost anything but injury and
death, but more would have fun with it at that time.
I am one for fun and all of you know that my dress is at times a bit
"bright". I am scaling back from now on so others will not be offended
and I will blend more with the group and set the proper image we are
ALL attempting to portray.
DLV, a vacation and not News bite.
Hugs to all, LeeAnna
