I have a hearse that I am fixing up to haul my funeral racer, which is
kind of a coffin-shaped soap box car, around the country to race. This
year I race in Dallas, San Francisco, and Portland. I saved the hearse
from the crusher and have spent thousand of dollars and hundreds of
hours fixing it up, but it hasn't been on the freeway yet. I thought
that Tucson to Vegas would be a nice first trip for it, and I think
Annie wants to tour the strip in it. ;)
Tony is my husband. He and I bought the airplane, wrecked, from a guy
who buys from insurance company auctions. The insurance company had
totalled it, but I don't know why. It only took me 7 weeks and a couple
of thousand bucks to put it back together. We normally take it to DLV,
but this year I wanted to test drive the coach, and Tony likes to fly
more than I do, so he's taking the plane.
We didn't put the Grand Canyon air tours on the schedule this year
because so many people didn't show up in the past, and Gina isn't
bringing a plane, but Tony could probably be talked into doing a tour
flight, if you're sure that you're going to be there for it.
