Some of the girls and SO's wanted to know where they could buy a
Cheongsam (Chinese style dress).
There are two sources that I'm aware of. The first is probably the
easiest. They are not custom style Cheongsams, have limited styles, and
have slits on both sides up to mid-thigh. However, they are available
and very reasonably priced in E-Bay. Search for Chinese dress or
Cheongsam and find the seller named silk4you.com The dresses are
available through E-Bay's Buy It Now for under $40. The second source is
from www.chinese-tailor.com. These are custom made Chinese dresses
tailored to your exact measurements for $98. plus shipping and take 3-4
weeks to deliver. I haven't used them yet, but plan to. I’ll let you
know how they are when I receive one.
I told some of the girls that the custom dresses were $40. I had it
backwards and apologize for the wrong info, and I'm not even blond (or
is that blonde).
