Hi

I'm sure Annie will respond any minute so I'll try and get in first. :-)

April and May have a tendency to be warm if not hot. It is also a time
when it can be fairly windy. The last three years we have had very warm
days and for example the DLV golfers often get sunburnt.

Last year I went sunbathing several times and I wanted to more often
except I had other things to do.

It is cool and even cold at night. Not freezing at that time of year but
temps certainly drop down.

During the day you do need to be careful about having something warm if
you intend to spend a lot of time in a casino or indoors between going
outsides. The casinos are uniformly cooler and a noticeable relief from
the heat during the day

It very rarely rains in Las Vegas and in twenty some visits over 20
years cover six months of in town time I'll only seen it wet twice. Both
times however involved LARGE amounts of rain in relatively short
periods. At one point I remember Paradise ???? Under 8-12 inches of
water as I drove down it.

Las Vegas is Las Vegas! Nobody cares unless you go round naked or have a
gun visible. You will get looks and stares and you may even get the odd
comment but no one seems to care enough to pursue anything. Further
hotel security being as it is is likely to pounce on in side issues
pretty quickly. They don't want a scene.

IMHO the worst situation is when we are all in a group 'cause then its
obvious who and what we are. This was clearly the case at MGM last year
and is the same at most events in public areas. Get used to and ignore
it.

As a long times Cder and visitor to Las Vegas I would say that if you
follow common sense, stay in the main areas and don't antagonise anyone
you will have NO problems what so ever.

The hardest part of leaving the closet is the door. Going through it the
first, 2nd and subsequent times. Eventually it is not an issue but
thatıs the hardest part. Once out and about you will find it is NO WHERE
near as bad as you could possibly image. Most report how much they enjoy
the experience and the excitement of wanting to do something for years
and finally doing it.

Opps Didn't mean to write so much.

See you there

Michelle
