I danced with straight women, and in the case of the House of Blues, I
also danced with the T-Girl I went with. Believe me, straight men have
no interest in dancing with us.
The other reason I like to go to the straight clubs is that I like to
dance to rock'n'roll, and I've generally found that most gay clubs only
play techno and house music, which I can't stand. I went to Rio on
Wednesday night and HOB on Friday, when each was playing the retro/80's
stuff (e.g. The Cure, Psychedelic Furs, New Order, etc.) that I really
like a lot.
