Is it also a "fact" that only transwomen engage in prostitution at
Hunters?
Has Hunters taken any action whatsoever against the johns or non-trans
male prostitutes who post to meet up on Craig's list? Or has there
never been a case of non-trans prostitution in the history of Hunters?
Is the business now gauranteeing that no act of prostitution will ever
be connected to Hunters now that all transpeople, guilty or innocent,
are excluded?
Stories like this reinforce negative stereotypes in the public that
connect transpeople to crime. Transwomen are linked to prostitution, but
gay men are not... It hurts a lot of transpeople who have never even
heard of Hunters.
