I think Diane may have been doing a roommate matching thing. I know she
volunteered to do this back in May but I haven't heard any chatter about
it lately.

The cheapest decent place in the River North area is the Red Roof Inn at
Ontario and St Clair, $90 as of last week thru Southwest. The HoJo over
on LaSalle is just a few bux more. Palmer House was like $98 thru
Travelocity last I checked, which is an unheard of price for this, even
beating an earlier price thru Orbitz.
If you have a vehicle, there are TONS of places in the $30-ish to
$50-ish range out in the burbs if you look around.
As for ride share, it's probably best to just let people announce here
if they will be needing a ride or have extra seats.
Personally, I plan to just take the El and the occasional taxi and maybe
bum a ride on occasion. I really don't think having a vehicle is a
necessity. I'm flying this time, but last time I drove to Pinkfest,
the car just sat in the garage at the hotel most of the time.
