>Thursday: Shopping and/or architectural tour in Oak Park.
I dunno when I'll be getting in, so I probably won't commit to anything
prior to din-din (or happy hour) Thursday evening.
>Dinner at Winberries.
I take it that's in the Oak Park area. How far is it from the Green
Line?
>Then go to a nightclub such as Hunters, Temptations, The
>Hideaway or the Nutbush.
I liked Hunters, and I know that Tina will like it as well. I'm not
married to it, so if there's something else the group wants I'll go
with the flow.
>If attendees would prefer, we could stick with a Chicago resturant
>like Ed Debevics or Hard Rock Cafe, then go to a club.
Ed's is a "must do", AFAIC, but doesn't have to be any particular
evening. HRC is another option in the area.
One place I've wanted to try is the Chicago Chop House, same area, but
that's a bit spendier (is that a word?) than the others. I've also
thought that Portillos (again, same area) might be a good one for our
group to try.

Ed's is always fun on Friday. It would be convenient to Baton.
> Friday or Saturday day: Maybe a boat trip along the Chicago River and
I know a couple of our people did that last year, and I might be in the
mood, but ... not to be a party pooper, but ... for the last Pinkfest
and for most of the last DLV, I've found that I've enjoyed things more
just doing my own thing in the day and joining the group in the evening
... into the early morning. Boat trip sounds like something I would
enjoy, but I will most likely want to keep my options open.
>Saturday night: Maybe dinner at Ann Sathers again, then go bar
>hopping in Boys Town. I am asking friends what are the good bars in
>Boystown, although I do like Sidetracks.
I've always liked AS's. I wouldn't mind going there again for dinner
on Saturday.
I'm assuming that Sidetracks is the place we ended up in last year.
Yes, I liked that, also the other Gentry across Halsted and down a
bit. I do want to explore more of that area. I also know that many
places there get quite zooey on Saturday night.
For the past 3 years, the Pinkfest gang has preferred bars where you
can sit and talk over loud dance bars. (Hunters offers both, that's
why I think people like it.)
>Any feedback will be appreciated.
Well, uh, you got it. :)
