Let's see ... how do I put this one ...
I was just on line (IRC) and I asked one of our occasional users who is
from the Chicago area if she will be joining us. Her response was
something like "I don't think so, I'm really not one of the regulars
here ..." or something like that.
Let me make this perfectly clear. At Pinkfest, we're not exclusive, or
cliquish, and we don't have any inner core group or in crowd. Those who
have never met any of us are just as welcome as those who have attended
every DLV and Pinkfest so far.
Let me assure you that even though you may be new to Pinkfest, you are
most welcome and you will be among friends.
Another point I would like to make is that it's not "un-cool" to do
boymode. I realize Pinkfest is a bit more public than many t* community
events, and let me assure you, nobody is gonna look down at you if you
show up in boymode. We want you in any shape or form you're in, so if
you're more comfortable in boymode in public, or if you just don't have
time to change and get ready, don't be discouraged from showing up.
Hope I've made this clear, and I'm sure the others will also attest that
this is indeed the case at Pinkfest.
See ya next week. :)
