Just a couple weeks to go ...

Well, gang, we're about 2 weeks out. About time to firm things up.

One thing I would like to ask ... it looks like there's some interest
from some old BBS buddies and some others in getting together, I would
suggest that if you make plans to get together, please consider getting
together with the group on Friday evening. That seems to be the one time
that is fairly solid WRT to times and places and that we will be in easy
to find and known t-friendly places.

For Friday evening, October 24th, we'll be eating dinner at Ed's (Ed
Debevics) in the River North area. This will be the third time we've
eaten here, and the group has always felt comfortable there. Ed's is on
the northwest corner of Ontario and Wells. If you're driving, just take
Your Favorite Expressway<tm> to the Ohio St exit, and Ed's is one block
north and a few blocks west. There's $valet$parking$ in front, parking
on the street if you can find it, and public lots all over the place. If
coming by train, it's a semi-easy walk from the Grand St station on the
red line or the Mart station on the brown.

Meet in the bar area about 7:00pm. I will be there then. Come either
boymode or girlmode, casual to moderately dressy, retro attire would
fit in just fine.

After Ed's, we'll wander over to Gentry On State. This is a nice bar and
club. We'll most likely congregate in the piano lounge. Gentry is on the
west side of State between Hubbard and Illinois. There are parking lots
all over the area. It's a very easy walk south from the Grand station on
the red line if coming by train. ETA at Ed's will probably be around
9:30pm or so. Come boymode or girlmode, casual to dressy. Again, this
place is very t-friendly.

If you get lost or can't find the group, phone or page. Numbers will be
sent out to those who answer the headcount next week.

Hope to see everybody (again) in a couple weeks. :)

Third draft schedule will be sent out shortly.
