Boystown is the nickname for part of Chicago's Lakeview district which
is centered around the Belmont-Clark-Halsted triangle. It got that name
due to the concentration of gay bars in the area. Where we ate dinner
last year (Ann Sathers) was right in there, as was the uptown Gentry.

The bar area seems to expand continuously, and now runs more or less
from Broadway to Racine along Belmont, and almost up to Addison
(Wrigley) along Clark and Halsted. There are also countless funky little
shops of various types in there.

We've really only hit two of the clubs up there for Pinkfest, those
being Gentry and Berlin, but there are a number of others that have
a t-friendly reputation that are not loud-dance only.
