I've been off-line for several days and just replied to Annie's mailings
tonight. Haven't got a response back yet with her detailed schedules,
so I hope this info doesn't cause confusion. You should definitely
follow any instructions that Annie has already given you and just
consider what I am saying here as useful background info.
As of 11:45 PM CDT Wednesday night 10/16/02, I talked to Baton by phone
and the Friday 10:30 show is sold out and they have limited reservations
left for the 8:30 and 12:30 shows. Note that the show times are indeed
on the half-hour. (Remember that Annie's preliminary schedules have
been referring to the 12:30 show as 12:00, which is the one we've been
planning on.) I've confirmed these show times both by phone and on
their Web site. They only accept reservations for groups of 2 or more.
So, if you want a confirmed reservation (highly recommended) you need
to pair up with someone. They said that if you were a single, you had
to try to get a seat at the bar. Last year I tried to get a reservation
on Friday for Friday, and they were sold out.
Last year, we did all got in as singles without reservations and sat at
the bar for the 12:30 show. I just like the safety of reservations.
So, if you're going to PinkFest with someone and planning on going to
Baton, you might consider getting a reservation in advance or trying to
pair up with someone online.
Tickets are $10, plus a 2 drink minimum.
