Yes, definitely want to make reservations, problem is that they charge
your card for the number of reservations at the time you make them ($12
per ticket). No refunds or cancellations. By the time I tried to make
same-evening reservations that afternoon, they said they were booked up.

I arrived towards the end of the 2nd show (IIRC), and skipped the line
and went up directly to the doorman who said the show was sold out, but
I said I was willing to stand until a seat opened up, so he passed me
right in without a bribe to the little ticket window. I bought a ticket
and found a seat right away at the bar and watched the end of the show,
where you girls found me before the next show. I never understood why
he made you wait in line.

The 2nd show was definitely full and I seem to remember that last show
being pretty full also. Well, it was a Friday night, as it will be this
time around also. Once we decide on a particular showtime, people
should definitely call in their individual reservations earlier that
week. They don't seem to have actual reserved seats, so sitting
together is not a problem if we simply arrive together (or early
enough).

Bar seats are hard to get, since the performers (and apparently a few
regulars who sit there all night every night) sit at the bar between
shows. I just got lucky in my timing last year. When I arrived, it was
the only bar seat open.

If people think the 12:30 show is too late, we could always start dinner
a little earlier (6:15 or 6:30??) and flip-flop the schedule by going
to the 8:30 show at Baton and then going on to Gentry, where the
entertainment lasts until 1 AM. Either way, we arrive at Gentry
sometime between 9:30 and 10:30, so we will probably have trouble
finding seats at first. It was packed the last time I was there.
Again, it's Friday night, so what do you expect.

You definitely don't want to arrive at the last minute at Baton. Which
time makes more sense for Baton?
