Here are a few that I know I could immediately locate and that kinda struck
my fancy. The list did have a number of places that sounded good but were
somewhat south and west of this area.

> ANNA MARIA PASTERIA 3953 N. Broadway. Cozy Italian Ristorante owned by

Yum!

> ANN SATHER Home-style cooking with a definitive Swedish flair.

As I said, this is the only one in the area I have any second-hand info
on.

> BUDDIES' RESTAURANT & BAR 3301 N. Clark. 3301 N. Clark. 14 years of

Heard of this, but don't know anybody who has eaten there.

> MADRIGAL'S 5316 N. Clark St. Neighborhood bar known for friendliness and

If we want bar food, this might be an option, or do we want something
more than barburgers and stuff?

On line a few minutes ago, Jana remarked that she's heard good things
about the Chicago Chop House, but has not been there.

Personally, I'm comfortable going to a place like this, but we don't
know how receptive they might be, and I would hate to see some of the
new people shy away.
