I like this place too. It also has the advantage of satisfying both the
steak people and the seafood people.
Another place in the neighborhood that I've always wanted to try is the
Chicago Chop House, a few blocks to the west, but I can't attest to the
food or service personally.

This is definitely not your typical bar show where some wannabe does an
out-of-step lipsync to "Turn the Beat Around" or something like that.
It was a very entertaining show, last year, that is.

Agreed!

In the same neighborhood there's also the Field Museum of Natural History.
All three are within easy walking distance and very good.

Does anybody have any alternate suggestions anywhere in the near-north,
Gold Coast, Lakeview, Wrigley, or Andersonville areas then? Probably
best to do Saturday din-din somewhere in the general vicinity of the bar
district, or on the way there somewhere.
Ideas, gang?

Yes, it is. :)

Quite possibly. Looking at the schedule, Friday afternoon would work, or
as an alternative to Saturday afternoon at the museums and such.

Ms. Scarlet with the revolver in the kitchen.
Seriously, I'm the one who brings this up. There's the Grand Victoria up
in Elgin, out Honda-way, and another one by Joliet (Romeo In Joliet?)
but I'm sure this does not interest everybody.
Comments?

Let me dig around and see what evidence I can find of a real happening
show in the area. I'll post a query in the newsfroup and see what
responses I get.

Ok, this year I'll be sure not to let a client-related issue make me
take off early. :)

Well, I'm looking forward to it very much. :)
