Toward a conclusion:
To move things along and to be fair to all, let's say that if
no significant objections to the Artisan plan come in by tomorrow
(Wednesday) morning, we'll go for the Artisan plan.

I say we go with the Artisan and hope the food costs and menu
selection are workable.
A big thanks to Cynthia and Marisa for all of the time and
work they put into resolving the Monday night problem.
Now everyone needs to get behind it and support it big time
with a huge turnout.
I went to the website for the Artisan Hotel and they have a
menu in pdf file for the Mood restaurant with prices listed.

my 2 cents
We went to the Artisan following the Atomic Testing Museum tour
a couple years ago.
The problem we had was a staffing one, someone had called in
sick or dead and the lunch service was very slow. The bartender
ended up having to do service as wait staff to get us all fed.
If we didn't have other things pressing on our clock for the day
I think the general reaction to the delay would have been minimized.
We had maybe 20 in our group and used less than half of the dining
area we were in. The bar was large and could handle many more
people with plenty of overflow into the lobby.
The place is ornate, heavily decorated and fun to wander through
with plenty of spots to stand or sit. I don't know how they will
relate to our crowd wandering with drinks into that common area,
but I believe it will happen.
I saw no indication that anyone there had any reservations
concerning the nature of our group and we were treated
respectfully and not bothered at all as we broke up and wandered
about to look at the place.
The Valet was courteous and prompt.
What will a max crowd do to that staff and their car juggling is
a question.
The food we had then was good and I thought it was fairly
priced, but I didn't look at drink prices.
It wouldn't be a bad choice but much of our experience will
depend on how the serving and valet staff manages to deal with
a group our size. We will have to look around for a good spot
for the group photo and whoever does it will probably need a
powerful or extra flash because the light level is pretty low
just about everywhere in the lobby, bar and dining room.
