HI Jamie:
The management is aware of the DLV and the past history of our
relationship with the hotel. We, at this time, continue to have
a reasonably good relationship with them.
The management was made aware of the rates that were offered to us.
We were offered the fifty dollar a night rate when we met with the
GM last month. At that time he had only been at this position for
a short time. I again met with him the following week. He appeared
to regret the offer but told me that he would stand by it. The
following week I learned that he was no longer the GM. When we
spoke to the new GM he said that he could not honor the offer. I did
get a clear feeling, he would not discuss the matter, that the old
GM had been acting above his authority and that was one of the
reasons that he was no longer there. His excesses were not confined
to anything related to our community.
Our Tri-Ess chapter has met there every month for the past three
years. They know who we are and who our members are. So far they
have remained very accommodating to us. If there is a change in
their attitude I should be one of the first to know.
