continue until no significant discussion comes in over 24 hours.

A complete recount was done, under the supervision of the
Minnesota Elections Board, and your ballot was found in an
envelope on the floor of a poll worker's SUV. An amended total
will be published in the next general ORG mailing.
The outcome and the margin of passage were not affected by
this item.

We have a motion, seconded, alive on the floor, and technically
we can't introduce another until that one is disposed of one way
or another, so let's consider this to be discussion.
We do not publish prices on our hotel page, unless special prices
are quoted, which none have as of this time. We do provide links
and phone numbers. Room prices tend to vary, so trying to keep
up with published prices is a high-maintenance function.
Yes, Sahara has opened up their reservations for May. $50/113 were
the rates posted a few days ago for the DLV dates.

My comments:
I am personally in favor of both points we will be voting on.
I see the change in management and change in management attitude
at the St. Tropez to be a warning sign that things may not be
all well and good there. I see this as a risk that our people
may not be happy there. I also do not want to reward the current
management for rescinding the obligations of the outgoing
management.
For Sahara, now that they have published the rates for the DLV
dates, I have no further concerns. I stayed at the Sahara for
DLVs 2000-2006 and, other than one night of being stuck in an
elevator for an hour with six total strangers, I have no
problems.
The reason I didn't stay there in 2007-2008 and probably will
not in 2009 is that I've found that I enjoy DLV more without
a vehicle, and that hotels closer to the center of the Strip
offer more for those without wheels.
