I think scheduling the week prior to Easter would be tantamount to

Palm Sunday is April 9 and Good Friday is the 15th. Although personally
I'm not of the persuasion that celebrates these as high holy days, many
of our attendees (and organizers) are.
I see this timeframe locking out many of our people who have family
commitments.
