Hi, Everyone-
Just a quick note to all of you to say hello, good bye, and thanks so much for a wonderful time.
I hope that those of you that did join us for the evening at La Cage had a wonderful time, as I did.
I know a few of you, following the show, mentioned the one "downer", which was some of the cat calls, etc that were heard as we entered the show, and even some as we made our way to our cars as we left.
Well, thats our lot in life. I, like most of you, have the instinct to run over and provide a "lesson in etiquette" to the narrow minded souls that thought that that was the thing to do.
But I am proud to be associated with all of you, who decided that while these geeks needed to be taught a lesson, they actually received one......
the lesson of what it is like to be confident in ones' self, to enjoy what we are and what we are doing, and to dismiss those that have a difficulty understanding the difference.
As I said, I am proud to have met you, to be associated with you, and to have had the honor and fun of spending the evening with you.
I think I can safely speak for the other members of the Cactus Rose Club in saying that we had a terrific time, and look forward to next year being bigger and better.
And I would welcome your comments regarding the show, so we can make plans now for DLV2001.
My best to you all..sorry we had to leave prior to the "end", but as Shakespeare said, "tempus fugit". [No, its not something dirty....:) ]
I hope to stay in contact with those of you from other areas throughout the next year, and hope that any of you that have the opportunity to be in the Phoenix area will give me a call or drop me an email, and we can get together while you are here.
And to those of you from the CRC, both from Arizona and those that are "associate members" from outside the Grand Canyon State, .....
I am proud to be associated with you. You were the epitome of what we want people to think of us. You displayed a sense of style and grace, even under "fire" that words can never describe. I love you all.
