Dates under consideration:
This is a special mailing.
This is a final notice that the dates for DLV 2006 are being
reconsidered and a final decision will be made shorly after the
first of December.
The next general mailing will be to announce the final decision on the
DLV 2006 dates. This will be sent out as soon as the dates are final.
See previous mailings for further information on why this is being done.
Your input is invited and appreciated.
One particular timeframe that appears to have support of both the
organizers and those commenting is that of Monday, April 17 thru Sunday,
April 23. Please be aware that Easter is April 16, 2006. Also note that
DLV 2003 began on the day after Easter and no complaints were received.
Other nominated timeframes are Sunday, April 16 thru Saturday, April
22 and Monday, May 15 thru Sunday, May 21.
The floor is open for comments and will be until November 30, which is
next Wednesday. If you have comments or concerns, they must be received
by Wednesday, November 30 in order to be considered in this decision.
You may comment either by replying to this mailing or visiting the
DLV Discussion Forum on the web at:
